Sunday 8th February - Worthing Round-Up

Another fantastic evening's football was enjoyed by all in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions.


In last night's Premier League division, Dynamo Chicken Kiev dominated the field, scoring a formidable 17-2 victory against Savas De Vaal. This high scoring match set the tone for the rest of the games, with goals aplenty. Purple Wanderers bested SDL FC 6-2, while Harry's Stiff FC narrowly edged out Sompting Dragons 7-5.


The most electrifying match of the night belonged to Hakuna Juan Mata and The Rowdy Apples, who ended in a thrilling 7-7 draw. The final Premier League match saw Unnamed Kebab FC secure a 4-2 victory against West Hammered.


The action was equally thrilling in the Division 1 matches. Jack's Barbers FC scored a 5-3 victory against Benjamin Tesko. Inter Ya Nan and Mandem FC had an exciting match, with the former walking away with a 4-2 score. Creamers had a landslide victory of 11-3 against Slightly Athletic, mentioning the top scorers of the match. Bilbao Baggins and Socks Down Studs Up had a nail-biting clash, with the latter clinching a narrow 6-5 win. The Tutt Experience and The Cheeky Blinders ended their game in a 2-2 draw.
