Sunday 8th June - Worthing Round-Up

A good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 side league overall, with all teams in attendance barring three.  Mary Slurps and Otters are due to return as normal next week, whilst Blue Ballers have been removed and replaced with new team Mandem FC who play their first fixture on Sunday 15th June.

In the Premier League, Classic XI and Sompting Dragons battled to a 1-1 draw, indicating a fierce competition between the two teams. However, SDL FC managed to trounce Unnamed Kebab FC with a score of 4-1, displaying their prowess on the field. The most thrilling match of the evening was undoubtedly between Hakuna Juan Mata and Foreigners FC, with the game ending in a 7-7 draw, keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

Division 1 witnessed a sensational performance from Bang Average FC, who secured a comfortable victory against Benjamin Tesko with a scoreline of 5-1. Chubby Alonsos also emerged victorious against Coman Her Face, securing a 6-2 win. However, Hgc Army and 6 Offenders kept spectators guessing with a 4-4 draw.

In Division 2, NOARC clinched a narrow win against The Cheeky Blinders with a 2-1 score. The match between Only Fools And Scorers and Secure The Coin FC ended in a 4-4 draw, showcasing a tight competition. Purple Wanderers secured a clean 2-0 victory against BNT Return, cementing their spot at the top of the division.
