Sunday 8th March - Worthing Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across both divisions barring two cancellations.  We look forward to seeing Slightly Athletic and Bilbao Baggins return as normal on Sunday 15th March.


In the Premier League, Dynamo Chicken Kiev emerged as the dominant force, defeating All Doner No Wrap with an astonishing score of 19-3. PURPLE WANDERERS also showcased an impressive performance, overcoming Hakuna Juan Mata with an 8-5 victory. West Hammered took down Savas De Vaal 8-4, and SDL FC triumphed over Unnamed Kebab FC 4-2. In the final match of the division, Sompting Dragons clinched a victory over The Rowdy Apples with a score of 5-2.


The Division 1 matches were equally thrilling. Benjamin Tesko handed Creamers a crushing defeat by 15-2, and Jacks Barbers FC overpowered The Tutt Experience with a score of 10-2. The tension was palpable in the match between The Cheeky Blinders and Mandem FC, which ultimately ended in a close 4-3 victory for Mandem FC.


The top scorers for each division have made their mark this week. In the Premier League, the title goes to Dynamo Chicken Kiev with 19 goals, while in Division 1, Benjamin Tesko leads with a remarkable 15 goals.
