It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worthing Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all 20 teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed matches played across both divisions.
In the Premier League Division, Savas De Vaal and Benjamin Tesko ended their duel in a 2-2 draw, keeping the fans on the edge of their seats till the very last minute. Unnamed Kebab FC put on a dominant performance, outplaying Chubby Alonsos with a final score of 6-2.
However, the real spectacle was Sompting Dragons' astounding 13-1 victory over Girthquake FC, setting a new league record for the highest goal difference in a single match. Dynamo Chicken Kiev also had a strong showing against Hakuna Juan Mata, closing the game with a neat 5-0 victory.
In Division 1, BNT RETURN came out on top against Bilbao Baggins with a 3-0 win. West Hammered managed to fend off CTRL ALT DE LIGT 5-3 in a closely contested game. The Tutt Experience and Slightly Athletic ended their match in a 2-2 draw.
But the most impressive performance came from Mandem FC with a 5-1 win over The Cheeky Blinders. The highlight of the division was Real Social Dads' game against Harrys Stiff FC, which ended in a staggering 12-1 victory for Harrys Stiff FC.
