Tuesday 18th April - Worthing Round-Up

Welcome to the match round-up of the Worthing 6-a-side league, which took place on Tuesday, 18th April, at Worthing Leisure Centre. All teams were present barring Dental Build FC, who have confirmed their return on 25th April. Let's dive into the match results and see what happened!

The first game of the night was between REAL SO SO BAD and GB ELECTRONICS FC. The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating chances in the opening minutes. However, GB ELECTRONICS FC took the lead through a well-placed shot from outside the box. REAL SO SO BAD tried to respond but couldn't find a way past the opposition goalkeeper. In the second half, GB ELECTRONICS FC doubled their lead through a fantastic solo effort from their star striker, sealing a 2-0 win.

Next up, PARIS AIN'T GERMAN faced off against DOG & DUCK FC. Both teams started brightly, exchanging goals in a high-scoring first half. The second half saw DOG & DUCK FC take control of the game, scoring two quick goals to take a commanding lead. PARIS AIN'T GERMAN tried to mount a comeback but ran out of time, eventually losing 7-5 in an entertaining match.

The final game of the night was between AE FC and SEBL FC. The game was a see-saw battle, with both teams taking turns in the lead. AE FC looked to have secured the win late in the second half, but a last-gasp equalizer from SEBL FC meant the match ended in a 4-4 draw.
