Tuesday 1st August - Worthing Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football once again in the Worthing Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance and some excellent matches played across the division as ever.

In what can only be described as a thrilling encounter, Dog & Duck FC narrowly edged out AE FC with a 6-5 victory. The match showcased the teams' relentless determination as they battled it out on the pitch, thrilling spectators with goal after goal.  Whilst the title may be out of their reach, Dog & Duck are aiming for as high a finish as they can with 2 to play.

Level 2 Kittens faced off against OPTIMUM FC, with the latter emerging as the victors with a 2-0 scoreline. OPTIMUM FC displayed a commendable defensive performance, denying their opponents any chance to find the back of the net, a third straight win since joining.

The Cesc Pistols encountered a formidable opponent in Kick Ball FC, who dominated the match, securing an emphatic 8-0 win. Kick Ball FC's relentless attacking play left The Cesc Pistols with no response, as they struggled to contain their opponents.

In a closely contested match, LA Underdogs and Paris Ain't German battled it out on the pitch. Ultimately, Paris Ain't German emerged victorious with a narrow 3-2 win. Both teams displayed exceptional teamwork and determination, with their top scorers leading the charge and contributing crucial goals.
