Tuesday 21st November - Worthing Round-Up

It was an excellent start to the new season in the Worthing Tuesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for game week 1 of the new campaign, including two new teams who made their debuts with us as the league returned to 8 teams!

In the opening match of the Premier League, Stozza Studs faced off against AE FC and took a decisive victory with a scoreline of 3 - 1. The Studs showcased a strong start to the season, with a performance that suggests they may be a team to watch this season.

Following this, spectators witnessed a commanding performance by Dog & Duck FC, who overran Paris Ain't German with a 4 - 1 victory. Dog & Duck’s forward line was particularly impressive, suggesting they could be a threat to other teams in the Premier League division as the season progresses.

Sporting Hardons and LA Champions engaged in a captivating and high scoring game with the final result favouring Hardons, who triumphed with a 7 - 5 win. This match was the highlight of the evening, demonstrating the competitive spirit and high-quality football that defines the Premier League division.

Finally, Dynamo Chicken Kiev asserted their supremacy with a staggering 9 - 0 victory over The Games The Game. This was the highest scoring match of the evening, played out by two debutant teams, one looking stronger than the other, although the latter will be looking to put this down to experience as they get used to the league moving forwards.

As the first week of Worthing Tuesday concludes, fans are left eagerly anticipating the action still to come. With the teams having set the tone for the season, it's clear that the Premier League division will be fiercely contested. As the teams regroup and refocus their strategies, we look forward to seeing how the rest of the season unfolds.
