Kidderminster Sunday 6 a side League news 08/08/21

All the latest news for the Kidderminster 6 a side league direct from The Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre, with all teams in attendance as expected.

Match Report.

First match of the evening saw table topping Pique Blinders face off against Hardly Athletic. It a good game for the neutral spectator, Pique Blinders ended up being too much for Hardly, as they ran out 7-2 winners, with goals from captain Aedan Osman, Luke and Josh, as well as an astonishing four from Drew D. Scott and Andy pegged a couple back for Hardly but the challenge was too much on the night for them.

Next up saw Romasexuals taking on last years winners Jacket FC, who have also been in fine form already this season. Romasexuals unfortunately failed to make a dent in a strong Jacket side, as they ran out convincing 11-0 at the end. Star performance of the night without a doubt goes to Drew Gooding, who notched an incredible 6 goals!

Last up we saw relative newcomers Giroud Awakenings play host to a strong 2 Girls 1 Schlupp side, and this was the best contested game of the night, with both sides having their chances. The game finished in a 1-1 draw as the sides shared the spoils. Captain Oliver Modley bagged for 2 Girls 1 Schlupp whilst Sam bagged for Giroud.
