In the world of local football, the season kicked off with a bang last night with the first week of the Kidderminster Sunday 6-a-side League showing some promising matches in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Walshes Crewe FC battled it out with Joes2Glory, resulting in a nail-biting 3-3 draw. Rosa Parks The Bus could not hold their ground against the slick Oldman Athletic, falling short with a 0-4 loss. The highlight of the night was the thrilling match between Ringers FC and Rasmusrailing. It was a nerve-racking game that ended with Rasmusrailing edging out a narrow victory of 5-4.

The man of the moment in the Premier League was undoubtedly Oldman Athletic's Jack Blazier, who emerged as the top goal scorer, netting an impressive four goals in the opening week.


In Division 1, Tism FC dominated Bewdley Boys with a solid performance, winning 2-0. Softy FC also came out victorious with a 2-0 win against Kentucky FC. The most thrilling game in this division was between Sands FC and Knackered Knees FC, ending with Knackered Knees FC outscoring Sands FC 5-3.



Lyall Hickman of Knackered Knees FC stole the show in Division 1, scoring a total of four goals becoming top scorer in this division.

The season has just kicked off, and these early results have set an exciting tone for the battles to come.
