The Kidderminster Sunday 6-a-side Football League sparked off its new season last night with a lively start. Battle lines were drawn and passions ran high as eight teams across two divisions showcased their skills on the pitch.

In the Premier League division, the opening matches were marked by gritty competitiveness and showcased an impressive display of teamwork and strategic plays. Walshes Crewe Fc and Joes2Glory faced off in a thrilling encounter that ended with Joes2Glory winning by 6 goals to Walshes Crewe FC's 3. Top scorer Brandon Cook from Walshes Crewe FC distinguished himself with a total of two goals.

Most Valuable Player- Max (Joes2Glory)

In a closely fought match, Oldman Athletic managed to edge past The Bengals with a 3-2 victory. A massive result for the newly promoted side against last season’s champions

Most Valuable Player- Dan (Oldman AthletIc)

Meanwhile, Rasmusrailing and Purple Granite FC ended on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Most Valuable Player- Alex (Rasmusrailing)

Division 1 also kicked off with high octane matches. Totally Average set a commanding presence in the league with a resounding 13-3 victory over Athletico Madridminster. The match witnessed an outstanding performance by Alex Thompson of Totally Average who netted a total of 5 goals, earning him the title of top scorer in Division 1 for the week.

In another faceoff, Tism FC overcame Haramballers FC with an 8-4 scoreline. 

Most Valuable Player- Will (Tism FC)

Sands FC, however, fell short against Rosa Parks The Bus, ending the match with a 1-3 defeat.
