Game Week 4
The first fixture of the evening saw Fruity Pebbles up against Woowaweewa Wonderers.
Both teams started well and the action was back and forth in a closely contested game. The game saw some great passing play and players on both teams were working tirelessly to gain the upper hand.
Woowaweewa managed to break the deadlock with a well worked goal just before the break.
The second half played out much like the first, with some tough tackles and great passing football. Fruity Pebbles managed to draw level mid way through the second half, and then dominated pushing for the winner, but ultimately, time ran out!
A great game of football ended with a 1-1 draw.
The second fixture saw Luka is Goated host WIT6.
Both teams were evenly matched and this game was again competitive.
Luka were their usual self, spreading the ball wide utilising their wingers where they could.
WIT6 were well controlled by their centre half and captain throughout, showing that a well organised team is hard to break down.
Luka managed to break the deadlock with a well orchestrated goal before half time.
The game continued in the same vain with both teams pushing forward. Luke got a free kick just before the final whistle and with some quick thinking, they took it quick and the ball ended up in the back of the net.
