STAMFORD SUNDAY 6 A SIDE LEAGUE NEWS 9TH AUGUST

As one season ended, another one began, as the Stamford Sunday league kicked off in some style as all teams looked to improve on last season and push for titles. Unfortunately new boys Woodnewton Warriors could not get a team ready for the first game of the season, however have assured us they will be back next week. Bungalow FC were also not in attendance and we are waiting on them to get back to us on whether they are returning with double match fees next week.

In the new premier division, it was very tight as Inter Minan and Elsea Park Allstars played out a 1-1 draw, with Gopping Lizards edging new boys Hansi Flick My Balls 2-1. 

The Division 1 results were very similar with AMS defeating We Are Scheift 2-1, and The inglorious Barnacks beating Deez Nuts 4-2.
