What a way to kick off the season - all great battles played in the right way 

Kicking off the season in an exhilarating fashion, 1 Log 5 Men dominated the field with a 2-0 victory over Tunnocks FC, competitive battles all over the pitch and end to end action.  Riley couldn't find the target, Finan could only hit the post d Finkley K deployed the shield to keep his penalty kick out so it was up to Log to show the way to tap in a rogue Jack P shot.

In what turned out to be a tightly contested match, Game Of Throwins slid back into the Div with an impressive 3-1 win over Net Six And Chill.  The star of the league's opening night was undoubtedly Riley Crown of Game Of Throwins. Crown was not only instrumental in leading his team to victory but also bagged two goals, thus being named the top scorer in the Premier League division for the week.

The Stamford Sunday league has just begun and the teams have shown their mettle right from the start, paving the way for an exciting season ahead. With ambitious teams, talented players, and the thrilling atmosphere, the league promises to offer an abundance of exciting football in the coming weeks.
