Sunday 13th February - Stamford League Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week.  We did have two cancellations on the day from Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole, and Not Very Athletic, both of which are due to return on Sunday 20th February.

After playing out their notice period to withdraw, Elsea Park Allstars have withdrawn from the league for the time being.  We are pleased to welcome new team Stuart Survivors to the league as their replacement, and wish them good luck going into their debut game with us on Sunday 20th February.

In the two league games which took place, Gopping Lizards dropped to second place despite an impressive 4-0 win over Luka Is Goated.  Raki Raiders and Xavi Dodgers played out the game of the night as neither could be separated in an end to end 4-4 draw!
