Sunday 19th February - Stamford Round-Up

It was a great evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw some entertaining matches played across the division.

Luka is Goated stay top of the table following their hard-fought 1-2 win over a passionate Cali Mashers who nearly held out despite an unrelenting barrage of chances.  Woowaweewa Wanderers failed to capitalise after they took an early lead over league newcomers Balotelli Tubbies, eventually losing 1-2; a wicked driven corner turned into their own net sealed the defeat and they remain at the foot of the table.

Only registered players have a chance to be included in the MVP and golden boot draws at the end of the season.
