Sunday 23rd January - Stamford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some close games played across the division.

Unfortunately we have had no option but to remove 'Morton FC' from the league after their first game with us, this is after it became apparent to us that they had several players from a team who were previously banned from participation in the league due to their conduct.  We will stick to our word on these issues, and if someone is expelled due to their conduct then a permanent ban will mean permanent.
