Sunday 26 Feb - Stamford League Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week.  

Balotelli Tubbies ran out eventual 3 - 1 winners against Cali Mashers, a couple of unfortunate early own goals saw the teams drawing 1 -1 for a period before Balotelli upped their game and got the points in the bag. 

Luka is Goated had an impressive 5 - 1 win over the Gopping Lizards in a real game of 2 halves; going in 5 - 0 up at half time was quite the cushion.  The Lizards managed to regroup and had a decent second half.  Luka's Jake was heard claiming to be 'knackered' before finding a turn of pace and chasing a ball across the pitch, losing it and telling his team he really was 'knackered' this time.

Luka is Goated remain at the top of the table, Balotelli Tubbies are poised in second place!  Interesting couple of weeks fixtures to come .......
