Sunday 27th March - Stamford League Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all 8 teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, barring Champagne Super Rovers and Stuart Survivors who cancelled due to Mother's Day and return to action on Sunday 4th April.

In the two league games which took place they were both closely competed, as Luka Is Goated picked up only their second win of the season, shocking second placed Gopping Lizards and effectively ending their title challenge by beating them by 2 goals to 1.

Xavi Dodgers moved away from the foot of the table and leapfrogged Raki Raiders whom they beat 3-1.

We look forward to seeing the league getting back to normal this week and seeing all teams in attendance for the penultimate round of this season's fixtures with Stamford's premier providers of small sided football!
