Sunday 28th May - Stamford League Round Up

The league remains tight!

The first game of the evening saw Woowaweewa Wonderers up against the 6ers in a friendly encounter. Some great passing football was played throughout where the 6ers showed their class and composure, running out victors 0-3 on the night.

The 6ers then stayed on to play their second fixture of the evening, this time paired against Luka is Goated. This turned out to be a more hard fought, close and competitive game. Both teams had chances in front of goal but struggled to covert due to some brilliant goalkeeping at both ends. As the game progressed, the 6ers grabbed two goals in quick succession to go into the last few minutes with an advantage. Late on, Luka grabbed one goal back but it wasn't enough. 

Final score, Luka is Goated 1 - 2 6ers.
