Sunday 3rd April - Stamford Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Stamford Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all 8 teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled.

Hansi Flick suffered only a second defeat of the campaign this week, as they were surprised by Sex Drugs and Carlton Cole who dished out a 2-1 reverse to the leaders.  Although the title should still be sewn up due to their superior goal difference, second placed Gopping Lizards still have an outside chance going into the last week of the season, they were 3-0 victors over Champagne Super Rovers.

Luka is Goated won the battle of the bottom two, as they bid not to finish at the foot of the table, they leapfrogged Xavi Dodgers on goal difference after beating them 4-1, whilst Raki Raiders moved up to sixth position with a convincing 4-0 win over Stuart Survivors.

We wish all teams good luck going into the next round of fixtures with Stamford's premier providers of small sided football, which will wrap up a superb season!  Please note we will be cancelled on Easter Sunday 17th April and will return for the new campaign on 24th April!
