A New Season Begins: Monday Madness Returns

The fixtures are set, the squads are ready, and confidence levels across the league range from “quietly hopeful” to “we’ll see what happens when we get there.”Our six teams line up for another round of Monday night heroics: 

Sassy Shaggers Reborn – revitalised and hoping the “Reborn” part includes their finishing ability

Longys Feet – looking to make their mark with some trademark long-ball wizardry. 

Dinas Lads – always energetic and always entertaining. 

Dicky Druids FC – bringing ancient wisdom and hopefully a few modern goals. 

Ctrl Alt Defeat – ready to reset last season and start fresh.

Big Gyok Little Gyok – arrive inspired by Arsenal’s own Viktor Gyökeres—with hopes that at least one of them finishes like him

 18:00 – : Dinas Lads vs Dicky Druids FC 

 18:30 – : Longys Feet vs Ctrl Alt Defeat 

 With every team starting on equal footing, it’s anyone’s guess who will come flying out of the blocks and who will still be warming up halfway through the first half. One thing is guaranteed though: there will be goals, laughs, and at least one player insisting “that would’ve gone in last season.” Best of luck to all teams as the 2025 campaign begins. Monday nights just got a lot more interesting.
