New Exeter Sunday 5 a side season kicks off!

The Exeter Sunday 5-a-side football league has kicked off with an impressive display of skill and sportsmanship. The first week of the season saw the teams from both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions displaying full-throttle football which resulted in some spectacular games.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Smeg United made a statement with a thrilling 9-3 victory over Scorinbread United. Leading the charge was top scorer of the week, Lewis Piper, who found the back of the net four times in a remarkable individual performance. Steau Needarest also started the season on a high note, beating Dusty Ballers 5-2. With these results, the stage is set for an exciting season in the Premier League division.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, in Division 1, the action was just as intense. IDIDYAMOTHERWELL edged Exeter Gently FC 6-4 in a nail-biting encounter. In another high-scoring game of the division, 5 Guys 1 Cup FC triumphed over Bonsai United with an emphatic 15-4 victory.

These results have laid the foundation for an exhilarating season ahead. The competition looks fierce, and with the top scorers already showing exceptional form, there's everything to play for. The teams are ready, the players are pumped, and the Exeter Sunday League promises to be a rollercoaster of soccer action.
