The bustling town of Axminster was abuzz last night as week 10 of the Axminster Wednesday Football League concluded, marking the end of the season. The atmosphere was electric as teams put forth their best performances in a bid to end the season on a high note.

Premier League
In the fiercely contested Premier League division, Vikings FC secured the top spot with a total of 17 points, after a total of 7 wins throughout the season. Their match last night against Nice To Michu proved their mettle as they emerged victorious with a 3-1 score line.

Meanwhile, the division's top scorer, Jake Davey, displayed his commendable skills by contributing a whopping 4 goals for CUFC, who had a convincing win of 7-2 over 6 Receivers. A special shoutout to team Uplyme & Sinker who showed a strong defensive game with a clean sheet, defeating Perrys Disabled 3-0.

Division 1
On the other side, in Division 1, The Roy's clinched the title with a total of 13 points and 6 wins. Their prowess was however overshadowed last night by Queens Park Strangers, who controlled the pitch, winning with a resounding 6-0 victory over The Roy's.

Callum Arnold of Anchors Away made a significant impact by scoring two goals, earning him the accolade of top scorer in Division 1. His performance certainly added to the thrill of Anchors Away's tight 2-1 win against Farmers Weekly .

As we conclude this season, we applaud all the teams for their performances and sportsman spirit throughout the league. The raw passion and skill displayed have undeniably set the stage for an exciting next season. Football fans, stay tuned for more action next year!
