Axminster Wednesday 6 a side news - New Season Kicks Off!

In the opening week of the new season, Axminster Wednesday's 6 a side football league saw some thrilling games and astounding performances from its teams and players, particularly in the Premier League and Division 1.

Premier league
In the Premier League, the marquee match of the night was between Vikings FC and 6 Recievers, ending in an 8-4 victory for the 6 Recievers. The standout player of the match was 6 Recievers' star player D Driver, who netted five goals, marking himself as the division's top scorer for the week.

In another hotly contested game, CUFC narrowly edged out Uplyme & Sinker with a 3-2 victory. Meanwhile, Ansu Fatties started the season on a high note, thrashing Gaffs Gooners 7-2.

Division 1
The action was equally exciting in Division 1, with The Roy's sweeping Anchors Away in a commanding 9-4 victory. The match between Queens Park Strangers and Diabetico Madrid was a nail-biter.
