The fever of the Axminster Wednesday 6-a-side football league continues to rise as it recently concluded its third week of adrenaline-pumping action. The league, split into two divisions, the Premier League and Division 1, has seen some exciting and fiercely competitive matches, which kept the football enthusiasts on their toes.


Premier League 
In the Premier League division, the week was marked by some impressive performances. In a thrilling clash, Perrys Disabled outplayed Ansu Fatties with a whopping 6-1 scoreline, thanks to the unstoppable Tom Boyland, who netted four goals, making him the division's top scorer. Nice To Michu also saw off Uplyme & Sinker with a narrow 1-0 victory in a nail-biting encounter. Meanwhile, CUFC and Vikings FC shared the spoils with a 2-2 draw in what was a closely contested match.


Division 1
Over in Division 1, Sigmas United claimed a comfortable 2-0 victory against Anchors Away, while Queens Park Strangers and The Deans battled out a high-scoring 4-4 draw. The Roy's also put on a stellar show, triumphing over Farmers Weekly with a convincing 5-2 win. The top scorer's crown in Division 1 was taken by Jake Mabbutt of The Deans, who scored an impressive four goals.
