Yesterday marked the exciting Week 6 of the Axminster Wednesday Football League. The games were fiercely contested, with teams battling it out for top spot in both the Premier League and Division 1.

Premier League 
In the Premier League, the tension was palpable. 6 Receivers clashed with Uplyme & Sinker in a nail-biting match that saw Uplyme & Sinker narrowly edge out their opponents with a 4-3 victory. The star of the match was undoubtedly the striker for Uplyme & Sinker, who managed to net an incredible four goals. Elsewhere in the Premier League, Vikings FC demonstrated their strength with a convincing 4-1 victory over Perrys Disabled, while CUFC triumphed over Nice To Michu with a score of 5-2.

Division 1
The competition was just as fierce in Division 1. Anchors Away dominated their game against The Deans, securing a 4-1 victory. Callum Arnold was the standout player in this match, scoring two crucial goals for Anchors Away. The Roy's put up a tough fight against Sigmas United, but ultimately fell short with a 2-1 defeat. The night wrapped up with Farmers Weekly edging past Queens Park Strangers in a tight match, ending 2-1 in favor of Farmers Weekly.

As we move into Week 7, the competition is heating up and we're excited to see what the next round of games brings. Will the current top scorers be able to maintain their form? Or will new stars emerge to challenge their dominance? Only time will tell. All in all, this week has served up a thrilling dose of football action, solidifying the Axminster Wednesday Football League's reputation as a must-watch event.
