Axminster Wednesday 6 a side news Week 8

Last night marked the eighth week of the high stakes Axminster Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, with a week of thrilling matches and impressive performances.

Premier League
In the Premier League division, the 6 Receivers team faced defeat, losing 1-6 against Perrys Disabled. However, Uplyme & Sinker pulled off an impressive win against Nice To Michu with a scoreline of 4-2. Moreover, Vikings FC showcased their dominance by shutting out CUFC with a score of 3-0. The standout player in this division was Uplyme & Sinker striker,  who managed to net an impressive total of 2 goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division for this week.

Division 1
Moving to Division 1, Anchors Away were narrowly defeated 2-3 by Sigmas United. The Deans also faced a rough night, losing 2-7 to Queens Park Strangers. However, The Roy's recorded a thrilling 4-3 victory over Farmers Weekly. Owen Harvey of Sigmas United led the scoring board in Division 1, securing 2 goals for his team.

With only two weeks left in the season, it's still all to play for as teams vie to secure their place for the next season. The stakes are high and the competition fierce as teams from both Premier League and Division 1 divisions look to make their mark.
