In the electrifying ninth week of the Axminster Wednesday 6-Side Football League, the competition in both the Premier League and Division 1 has intensified. Teams in both divisions displayed exceptional skills and teamwork, leaving fans on edge throughout the evening.

Premier League

In the Premier League, Ansu Fatties delivered an impressive show against Nice To Michu with a 5-2 victory. The Perrys Disabled also fought hard but lost to Vikings FC 1-3. The spotlight, however, was on Uplyme & Sinker, who outplayed Sigmas United with an overwhelming 4-0 victory. Their star player, Chris Wellman, stood out with an outstanding performance, scoring 2 of the 4 goals to become the top scorer in the Premier League division this week.

Division 1
Meanwhile, in Division 1, the competition was equally fierce. Anchors Away and 6 Receivers faced off in an exciting match, with Anchors Away securing a 2-0 win. The most thrilling match of the night, however, was Diabetico Madrid’s narrow 7-5 win over The Roy's. Joseph Gummer of Diabetico Madrid stole the show by scoring 4 out of the 7 goals, earning him the title of top scorer in Division 1 for the week.

As the Axminster Wednesday 6-Side Football League progresses into its tenth week, the competition continues to heat up.
