In a thrilling week 7 of the Bicester Wednesday 5 a side Football league, both Premier League and Division 1 saw some electrifying games with goals raining from all sides.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, the night featured a clash of titans between Men Behaving Chadli and Elmsbrook Utd. Elmsbrook Utd dominated the match with an impressive 7-2 victory. The audience was also treated to a high scoring match between Pickled Patch and RNO FC, with RNO FC emerging as the champions of the night with a commanding 9-3 win.
The star of the Premier League division was undoubtedly Reuben Mitchell from RNO FC. Mitchell lit up the field with his breathtaking performance, scoring a whopping total of 5 goals, earning him the top scorer accolade in the Premier League division for the week.
DIVISION ONE
The excitement was equally palpable in Division 1. Pablo Hit-the-bar and Tikka Tens FC had a nail-biting face-off with the match ending in a slim 7-6 victory for Pablo Hit-the-bar. This match was a testament to the competitive spirit of both teams, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats until the last whistle.
Rhys Jones from Pablo Hit-the-bar was undoubtedly the standout player in Division 1. His outstanding performance, which included a total of 3 goals, not only made him the top scorer in Division 1 but also earned him the title of the most valued player of the week.
As the season progresses, the teams will continue to battle it out on the pitch, aiming for the top spot in their respective divisions. The excitement and anticipation for the upcoming matches are at an all-time high, and we can't wait to see what the following weeks of the Bicester Wednesday 5 a side Football league have in store.
