In the inaugural week of the new 5 a side Football League season, Bicester Wednesday, both Premier League and Division 1 teams exhibited outstanding performances on the pitch.

In the Premier League division, RNO FC and Astro Snappers kicked off the season with an electrifying match. RNO FC emerged victorious, recording a narrow 4-3 victory. Lennon Parkin of RNO FC, who was named the most valued player of the week, showcased an impressive performance, serving as the backbone of RNO FC's win.

Elmsbrook Utd trounced Pickled Patch 5-1, with Sean Dineen of Elmsbrook Utd leading the charge and topping the division's goal-scoring charts with four goals. The encounter between Men Behaving Chadli and Flying Without Ings was another nail-biter, with the latter edging out a 6-4 win.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Pablo Hit-the-bar faced off against Clamp Town Fc in a high-scoring match that ended 11-7 in favour of Clamp Town Fc. Rhys Jones stood out, scoring a total of 5 goals for Pablo Hit-the-bar, making him the top scorer in Division 1 for the week. In the other fixture, Dooshin FC claimed a 9-6 victory over Gibbon Gladiators.

As the Bicester Wednesday League season has just begun, all teams have their eyes on the grand prize.
