In an electrifying start to the Pencoed Monday 6-a-side football league, several teams across the Premier League, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 divisions put on a thrilling spectacle of goals and decisive victories.

In the Premier League, High Street Builders FC nudged a close victory over PACK FC with a 4-3 final score. Fill Her Wycombe managed to squeeze out a 5-4 win over The Goonies in a thrilling goal-ridden encounter. Munter Hunters FC and Bridge United also started the season on a high note with victories against Cefn Glas YC and Vale Originals, respectively.

In Division 1, Ginger Peanut Bedlam dominated the field with a whopping 8-1 victory over Taxi Inflation. Matets comfortably beat Club Catenaccio 4-1, while Trehorny Street FC and VFL Bochum Ultras also emerged victorious against Econotherm UK Ltd and Tondu Vets, respectively.

Division 2 witnessed an intriguing draw between Netsix and Chill FC and Old Timers, with both sides netting a goal each. Bryncae Bench Warmers and Stella Fellas secured their first wins of the season against The Bush Inn and Boca Seniors, respectively.

In Division 3, Six Offenders FC and Real Sosobad made their intentions clear with emphatic victories over Rustler Burger and Brown Ducks, respectively. Out On Bale also started their campaign with a strong 6-2 win over Goon Gang.

The season has only just begun, and the teams have set the bar high right from the get-go. The top scorers for each division, whose names have been withheld for now, have already set the tone for what promises to be an enthralling season of football.
