The Pencoed Monday 6-a-side football league kicked off its opening week, hosting a slew of high-stakes matches across four thrilling divisions.

The Premier League was headlined by a showdown between Trehorny Street FC and Cuba Blacks. Trehorny Street FC managed to show dominance right from the get-go, securing a 3-1 victory over their opponents. The other match of the division saw Stickybedsheets narrowly clinching a 4-3 win against Fill Her Wycombe in a seven-goal thriller.

In Division 1, VFL BOCHUM ULTRAS made a strong statement by convincingly defeating Dyslexic Untied 3-0, displaying their clear intention to be the dominant force this season.
