Chesterfield Sunday Football League concluded its fifth week yesterday with an array of exciting matches across all four divisions.

In Division 1, Mill Guys showed why they are considered the division's powerhouses, securing a dominant 4-1 victory over LADZIO. In another heated encounter, Whingerworth edged out IMX FC with a 3-1 win.

Division 2 saw Pathetic Athletic come out on top with a 3-1 victory against S40 Rifles, with their star player Scott Manlove named as the most valued player of the week. Manlove's exceptional skills and teamwork played a pivotal role in his team's win. Team Name also had an outstanding performance, thrashing Athletico Biffin 5-1.

The third division games witnessed some of the most intense matches of the season. “Norfolk & Good” landed a stunning 5-0 victory over Park Road Fc, making them one of the top scorers of the week. Dyslexia United and 360 No Pope also secured their respective wins with a score of 2-1 against Walking Football FC and Xavi Dodgers, respectively.

Over in Division 4, Parking The Bus Fc and The Jerry Hat-Tricks claimed victories against Brexit Birdholme and Brexit Or Exit with clean sheets, while Matip Stinks were the top scorers of the division with their 9-4 win against Somersall All Stars.

The league continues to provide thrilling football action every week, and the competition across all divisions is heating up. At the midpoint of the season, every match counts, and it will be interesting to see who rises to the top in the coming weeks.
