The Chesterfield Sunday 6-a-side football league continued its exciting season with thrilling matches during its fifth week.

Division 1 saw intense battles, as LADZIO narrowly lost to Newbold FC in a high-scoring 4-3 game. In another nail-biter, AFC Magnet & Steel emerged victorious over Bramersall, with a scoreline of 5-4. Athletico Biffin also secured a win against AFC S41thouse, edging them out 2-1.

Moving on to Division 2, “Norfolk & Good” demonstrated their class, defeating Dyslexia United 4-0. Panicinargos registered a victory against Xavi Dodgers with a score of 4-2. Meanwhile, Eckington Boys outplayed IMX FC, dominating with a 5-1 win.

In Division 3, there were plenty of goals on show. Parking The Bus FC triumphed over KFC Wimbledon 3-1, while Park Road FC mirrored that scoreline against Somersall All Stars. Matip Stinks kept a clean sheet against Walking Football FC, finishing 2-0, as did JCB against Brexit Birdholme. The most thrilling match saw Techy Tandoori overcoming Brexit Or Exit 4-3 in a thrilling encounter.

A special mention goes to the top scorers for each division. In Division 1, Newbold FC and AFC Magnet & Steel shared the glory. Over in Division 2, “Norfolk & Good” and Eckington Boys caught the attention. While in Division 3, Techy Tandoori lit up the scoreboards.
