Football fans gathered for a thrilling conclusion to the Chesterfield Sunday 6-a-side Football League as week 10 marked the final week of the season. It was a day of exhilarating performances, edge-of-the-seat drama and exceptional footballing skill spread across five divisions.
In Division 1, it was WFC who emerged victorious, edging out Jaipur Jockeys in an intense face-off ending in a 3-2 scoreline. Their impressive run throughout the season with a total of 7 wins, culminated in them securing the division title with 14 points.
Division 2 saw a nail-biting match with “Norfolk & Good” and Nigerian Nightmares battling it out to a 1-1 draw. However, it was Hawk Tuah Fc, despite losing 3-1 to Parking The Bus Fc, who claimed the top spot with an impressive 15 points and 7 wins.
In Division 3, fans witnessed a 0-0 stalemate between Marvel Assemble and Jamface Fc. Clean Breaks United managed to slip past KAVs Essentials with a 1-0 win. Yet, it was the Misfits who dominated this division, finishing first with an impressive 9 wins and a total of 18 points.
Division 4 surprised everyone as Boca Seniors suffered a hefty 0-7 loss to Puff N Pass. However, it was Getafe Me Mason, who won their game against Puyol Pants Down 4-1, that topped the division with their brilliant performances throughout the season, garnering 18 points from 9 wins.
