The Chesterfield Sunday 6-side football league kicked off its season in spectacular fashion this week with a series of thrilling encounters across all four divisions.

In Division 1, WFC made an emphatic statement with a 6-1 victory over BTPSG FC, while Manjdog Men annihilated Hawk Tuah FC with an outstanding 9-1 win. Ladzio also found their stride early, convincingly beating Jaipur Jockeys 7-1. These scores may be indicative of the exciting and competitive season that awaits us.

Division 2 saw CFR Clunj fall 0-3 to a strong Misfits squad, and a closely fought encounter ended in a 2-1 win for Parking The Bus FC over Nigerian Nightmares. These early results set an intriguing stage for the rest of the season.

Puyol Pants Down edged out “Norfolk & Good” 2-1 in Division 3, while Getafe Me Mason delivered a big blow to Marvel Assemble with a 4-0 win. It was a clear display of dominance and power from the winners, which promises an exciting season ahead in this division.
