Chesterfield Sunday 6-a-side Football League entered its thrilling fifth week yesterday, featuring intense matches across four divisions.

In Division 1, the only game for the evening saw a fierce showdown between two strong teams. It was a nail-biting affair with “Norfolk & Good” scoring a narrow victory with 1-0 win over Ladzio. The tight defense and solitary goal reaffirmed the quality of both teams in the division.

Division 3 was marked by spirited competition, as Saville Soldiers and 5 Guys and Basset faced off. An edge of the seat encounter concluded with 5 Guys and Basset triumphing 3-2 over Saville Soldiers. In another Division 3 clash, Boca Seniors showcased their offensive prowess with a 5-2 win over Six Offenders, marking a high scoring match for the division.

The energy was high in Division 4 as well, with Murphy’s Men falling to Atletico Biffin 3-1 in an action-packed match. In another exciting face-off in the division, The Subs Bench clinched a narrow victory over Jamface FC with a 3-2 scoreline, demonstrating the competitive and unpredictable nature of the division.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Division 2 and Division 5 did not see any action this week, and thus, no scores are available.

As for the top scorers of the week; Norfolk & Good's anonymous striker led Division 1 with his vital goal. In Division 3, Boca Senior's forward had a standout performance by netting in three of the five goals. Division 4's top scorer was Atletico Biffin's energetic center-forward with two goals to his name.
