BANK HOLIDAY NOTICE- The league resumes on June 2nd after the bank holiday weekend.
It was a fantastic evening of action at Chester Leisure Leagues on Monday. We were delighted to welcome Rubber Dingy Rapids and Elton FC to the league!
In the Premier League, PlayLikeAlmiron managed to secure a clean sheet against Team 1 with a decisive 2-0 victory. The biggest win of the day came from MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7 who beat Elton FC, netting an impressive seven goals. BIG L and Over The Fence FC also held their rivals to close contests, with BIG L edging out WoolyBack Rovers 3-2, and Over The Fence FC managing a 2-2 draw against JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC.
Division 1 saw a hard-fought battle between The Bouv FC and Reeves Rovers, with Reeves taking the win 3-2. HARDLY ATHLETIC and ANCHOR FC as well as FEED THE GOAT and Sheffield Monday both ended in goalless draws, while CEEAITCHTHREE FC and GREAT ESCAPE had a 2-2 tie.
Division 2 had Black Rabbit FC achieving a slender 1-0 victory over REAL GREENS, and Rubber Dingy Rapids FC narrowly surpassing Overton 8 with a 3-2 scoreline.
Finally, in Division 3, Inhaler FC triumphed over Luton United 2-1. Released On Bale enjoyed a 3-0 win against Opera Grill FC, while Barely Athletic fell short to ESC7 5-2, and Tea And Busquets succumbed to YO YO FC 1-0.
