In the second week of the Chester Monday Football League, the action was as exhilarating as ever with unexpected twists and turns in all four divisions.
In the Premier League, last night’s fixtures produced some thrilling encounters. Mozam FC reigned victorious against WoolyBack Rovers with a narrow victory of 2-1, while MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7 took home the win with a solid 2-0 against JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC. Equally intense was the goalless standoff between Team 1 and BIG L.
Over in Division 1, ANCHOR FC managed a 1-0 against GREAT ESCAPE, while Sheffield Monday and The Bouv FC split points in a 1-1 draw. FEED THE GOAT also secured a 1-0 victory against CEEAITCHTHREE FC, rounding off the division's matches for the week.
Division 2 saw Overton 8 edge Rising Stars FC 3-2 in a high-scoring fixture. Black Rabbit FC earned a 1-0 victory against Billard FC, and REAL GREENS fell to Huzzy Wuzzie FC, also 1-0.
Division 3 provided its share of excitement as well. Opera Grill FC dominated against Tea And Busquets with a whopping 7-2 victory, while Barely Athletic fell 0-3 to Inhaler FC. The match between Released On Bale and Luton United ended in a goalless draw.
