Chester Monday's Match Report


It was a brilliant round of action at Chester Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw all teams in attendance with exception of Adid-ass Predators who return as normal from next week. Last night also saw last season's winners pick up their trophy and medals, a huge congratulations to all involved!


In week 2 of the Chester Monday's 7 a side Football league, the Premier League saw some intense match ups. The night's biggest upset was Jimmy Lloyds Hassel-Bank FC's narrow victory against Team 1, scoring a single goal. However, the game that kept everyone on the edges of their seats was between Feed the Goat and Micky's Magnificent 7, with the latter clinching a 4-3 win. PlayLikeAlmiron outperformed Huzzy Wuzzie FC, winning 3-0. WoolyBack Rovers also secured a narrow win against Try Hards, ending the game 2-1.

In Division 1, Dill Dough Balls emerged victoriously against Great Escape with a 2-1 score. Sheffield Monday managed to edge out FC Stone with a similar scoreline. Meanwhile, Daves Boys outscored Pique Blinders FC 3-1 to register their first victory of the season.

Division 2 saw Big L lose to Rubber Dingy Rapids FC in a 2-1 match. OMOW, with a stellar performance, beat Hardly Athletic 2-0, while The Bouv FC beat league debutants Stepsissoko 7-0. Rolt Rovers FC also managed to claim victory against Sporting Abeergut with a 3-2 win.

In Division 3, Real Greens overcame Inhaler FC with two goals to zero. Rising Stars also beat Black Rabbit FC 2-0. M&S Bank FC lost to TBD by a narrow margin, with TBD winning 1-0. Lastly, Yo Yo FC and ESC7 ended their match in a 1-1 draw.
