Chester Monday Football League Kicks Off with Thrilling Matches

CHESTER - It was brilliant evening of football at Chester Leisure Leagues on Monday which kicked off its first week of the season. 

Please can all teams be reminded that we are off next week for the Easter Bank Holiday, the league resumes as normal on April 28th

In the Premier League, BIG L stormed to an impressive 3-1 victory over Team 1, showing dominance from the whistle. MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7 humbled JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC with a stunning 4-0 sweep, while WoolyBack Rovers edged a narrow 1-0 win against Mozam Fc. FC ARGYLE return to competitive action next week.

In Division 1, the Pique Blinders FC and HARDLY ATHLETIC shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. However, Sheffield Monday and ANCHOR FC securing victories over The Bouv and Great Escape. It was Ceeaitchthree who stole the show with a fantastic 4-0 win over Feed the goat.

Division 2 saw Rising Stars FC shine, taking a 2-0 victory over Overton 8. M&S Bank FC and Black Rabbit FC also triumphed, while Huzzy Wuzzie FC recorded a 2-0 win against REAL GREENS.

In Division 3, Released On Bale dominated Luton United with a 3-0 victory, while YO YO FC earned a solid 2-0 win over ESC7. Inhaler FC managed to scrape a 1-0 win over Barely Athletic.
