The city of Chester was brimming with excitement as week four of the Chester Monday 7-aside Football League brought nail-biting action on the pitch. We were delighted to welcome Jersey Royale 7's who made a winning debut
The Premier League saw a close call between PlayLikeAlmiron and Sheffield Monday, with the latter clinching the match 2-1. ANCHOR FC also secured a 2-1 victory over Team 1, while BIG L overcame JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC with an impressive 9-1 win. This week's top scorer in the Premier League was MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7, who sealed a resounding 4-1 triumph over Hoole Rangers FC.
In Division 1, Black Rabbit FC hopped their way to a 4-2 victory against Huzzy Wuzzie FC. HARDLY ATHLETIC proved their name's irony with a 7-0 drubbing of The Bouv FC. CEEAITCHTHREE FC and Reeves Rovers battled it out, with the former emerging victorious 4-2. Rovers Return and WoolyBack Rovers ended in a tense 1-1 draw.
Division 2 saw a deadlock between Inhaler FC and REAL GREENS, with a 1-1 draw. FEED THE GOAT showed stellar play, besting Rising Stars FC 4-1 to emerge as division's top scorers. Billard FC also made their mark with a 5-0 victory over M&S Bank FC. Yoyo FC will be replaced by the Mariners from next week.
The Danes and Overton 8 settled with a 1-1 draw in Division 3, while Released On Bale secured a 2-0 win over ESC7. Jersey Royales 7s nudged past Barely Athletic 2-1 on their debut. Rubber Dingy Rapids FC, however, stole the show as the top scorers in the Division, with a 4-1 win against Opera Grill FC.
