It was a fantastic evening of football at Chester Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw all teams in attendance with the exception of Rovers Return who return to action next week
In the Premier League, the intensity reached new heights as ANCHOR FC succumbed to a 3-1 defeat against JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC. Sheffield Monday showcased their supremacy with an emphatic 4-0 triumph over Hoole Rangers FC, while MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7 claimed an impressive 4-1 victory against Team 1. PlayLikeAlmiron managed to scrape a narrow 1-0 win against BIG L.
Moving towards Division 1, Huzzy Wuzzie FC secured a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Reeves Rovers. The Bouv FC edged out WoolyBack Rovers in a closely contested match, ending 2-1. HARDLY ATHLETIC trounced Black Rabbit FC 6-1.
In Division 2, GREAT ESCAPE claimed a 2-0 win against Billard FC, while Inhaler FC played out a goalless draw with M&S Bank FC. A tight contest between Mariners and FEED THE GOAT saw the latter take the win with a 2-1 victory, while REAL GREENS and Rising Stars FC also ended in a stalemate with a 0-0 result.
Finally, in Division 3, an action-packed draw was witnessed as ESC7 and Jersey Royales 7s played out a thrilling 3-3 tie. Rubber Dingy Rapids FC shut out Overton 8 with a 3-0 win. Released On Bale dominated The Danes with a 7-1 victory, while Opera Grill FC squeezed past Barely Athletic with a 3-2 win.
