In an exciting week of the Chester Monday Football League, the teams battled against each other across the four divisions, with some high-scoring games and nail-biting moments.
In the Premier League division, BIG L emerged victorious against Hoole Rangers FC with a scoreline of 4-2. Sheffield Monday outperformed Team 1 with a 3-1 victory. The most impressive performance, however, came from ANCHOR FC, overcoming MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7 with a 3-1 victory, which solidified their position in the league. Jimmy Lloyds return to competitive action as normal next week.
Moving on to Division 1, tension was palpable as CEEAITCHTHREE FC and The Bouv FC ended in a goalless draw. Meanwhile, Huzzy Wuzzie FC managed to edge out HARDLY ATHLETIC in a close match ending 2-1. The spotlight in this division was stolen by Rovers Return, trouncing Reeves Rovers with a scoreline of 4-0.
In Division 2, Mariners and REAL GREENS played to a 2-2 draw, while M&S Bank FC managed a narrow 2-1 victory over Rising Stars FC. Billard FC also claimed a hard-fought win against Inhaler FC with a lone goal determining the outcome.
Finally, in Division 3, bare-knuckled action was seen as The Danes demolished Jersey Royales 7s, scoring 5 goals to 1. Rubber Dingy Rapids FC recorded the highest scoring margin of the night, destroying Barely Athletic 6-0. Released On Bale also impressed with a 5-1 victory over Overton 8.
