Play in the Chester Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Chester Monday 7-a-side football league wrapped up its ninth week with some heart-stopping matches that had fans on the edge of their seats. The four divisions- Premier League, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 showcased the sheer talent and resilience of their teams.

In the Premier League, MICKYS MAGNIFICENT 7 left a striking impression with an emphatic 5-1 win over PlayLikeAlmiron. BIG L and ANCHOR FC also secured convincing victories by overcoming Sheffield Monday and Hoole Rangers FC respectively. The thrilling deadlock between Team 1 and JIMMY LLOYDS HASSEL-BANK FC with an equaliser of 3-3 was the highlight of the night.

Moving to Division 1, Rovers Return took the lead by besting HARDLY ATHLETIC 3-0 while Black Rabbit FC narrowly edged out Reeves Rovers with a 1-0 victory. WoolyBack Rovers and Huzzy Wuzzie FC ended the night with 2-0 wins over teams CEEAITCHTHREE FC and The Bouv FC.

Division 2 saw the Rising Stars succumbing to GREAT ESCAPE in a 4-1 defeat. REAL GREENS clinched a thrilling victory over M&S Bank FC with a 4-3 scoreline. Billard FC claimed a victory over Mariners with a 3-1 score while FEED THE GOAT and Inhaler FC had an evenly contested match that ended in a 2-2 draw.

Last but not least, Division 3 had some exciting matches as well. Overton 8 swept Opera Grill FC with a 4-0 victory while Rubber Dingy Rapids FC triumphed over Jersey Royales 7s with a resounding 8-1 win. The Danes and ESC7 had a nail-biter of a game, with the former emerging as winners by a margin of 3-2. Barely Athletic and Released On Bale ended their contest with a 1-1 draw.
