Play in the Chester Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the inaugural week of Chester Monday's new 7 a side Football league season, competitive energy and adrenaline were palpable as teams across four divisions took to the field.

In the Premier League division, BIG L made an impressive start, defeating WoolyBack Rovers 2-0. Team 1 and HARDLY ATHLETIC battled it out to a 1-1 draw, while Hoole Rangers FC edged out Sheffield Monday in a closely contested match 1-0.

Meanwhile, Division 1 saw ANCHOR FC outclass Falk U FC with a decisive 3-0 victory. A face-off between Pancakes and M&S Bank FC ended in a 2-2 draw, while MUGA eked out a narrow win against Mariners, 1-0.

Over at Division 2, The Danes and Ruben Amorim Ur Dad emerged victoriously, overcoming Bhadders FC and Black Rabbit FC respectively. However, the highlight of the division was GREAT ESCAPE's convincing 4-0 win over Rising Stars FC. REAL GREENS also started the season on a high note with a 2-1 win over Lime Greens.

Division 3 saw a number of close matches. Overton 8 managed a slim 1-0 victory over Barely Athletic, while Opera Grill FC narrowly defeated Billard FC 3-2. In similar vein, ESC7 and Huzzy Wuzzie FC each won their matches 2-1 against Inter Ya Nan and Inhaler FC respectively.
