BALTI BOYS CHAMPIONS

Cowes Tuesday Football League Concludes with Thrilling Week 14 Matches

The Cowes Tuesday 6 A Side Football League wrapped up its season with an action-packed final week, delivering exciting matches and impressive performances from the competing teams. With the Premier League and Division 1 divisions showcasing their skills, we were treated to a feast of goals and thrilling gameplay.

In the Premier League, the matches were nothing short of spectacular. Balotelli-tubbies emerged victorious with a commanding 10 - 3 win over Inter Ya Nan, while The Balti Boys secured a hard-fought 4 - 2 victory against The Adidas Predators. St. Mary's showcased their dominance with a resounding 18 - 2 triumph over Chewbacca The Net. Their star player, Leigh Mackenzie, stole the spotlight by netting an impressive 8 goals on the night to claim the golden boot title for the Premier League this season.

The Division 1 teams battled it out fiercely, with One Inch Wanders FC narrowly falling 2 - 3 to Bolton Squanderers. Hit The Wheel FC showcased their prowess, delivering an emphatic 10 - 0 victory over Robbin Ma Koch, while Dragons Fire Utd secured a convincing 6 - 2 win against Baines On Toast. Kev Voo of Millersmayhems claimed the top scorer title for Division 1 with an impressive tally of 28 goals through the season.

So it's huge congratulations to Balti Boys who have seen off some strong competition to secure their first Leisure Leagues title in Cowes. They finish ahead of Man Chest Hair Utd on goal difference with former champions St Mary's a point behind in 3rd. Congrats also to Balotelli-Tubbies who finish their 1st full season in a creditable 4th place while Chewbacca The Net will return to Division One along with new side The Adidas Predators who fared well in their few games so far.

In the Division 1, One Inch Wanders FC emerged as the champions with a total of 22 points and 10 wins. Their consistent performances and determined efforts throughout the season proved pivotal in securing their well-deserved victory. Millars Mayhems finish their best season so far in 2nd place and will be up for the challenge of the top flight. If they can keep Kev Voo fit and in form they may just surprise a few people, we wish them and all our teams that are continuing good luck for the next season which kicks off next Tuesday.

We definitely have room to accommodate some new teams so with the August offer running for just a few more days, now is the time to get your squad together and sign up to be part of this brilliant league.
