End Of The Season at Cowes Tuesday 6 a side

The Cowes Tuesday 6 a side season came to it's conclusion last night at Cowes Enterprise College and the title race couldn't have been much closer this season!

A huge congratulations to St Mary's who sealed the title on goal difference from former champions Old Guns. St Mary's ended the season with a 5-0 win due to Victor Moses Lawn being away while runners up Old Guns finished with an entertaining 9-6 win over Millennials Plus, Ross Lacey out scoring his team mates with a hat-trick for Old Guns. Pique Blinders won convincingly away at Robbin Ma Koch 9-1 to round off a good season for them and a third place finish, Kian Mooney top scoring with 4 goals. Finally Baines On Toast picked up a 4-1 victory away at Diverse Cowboy's to jump out of the bottom two.

The individual awards are as follows, St Mary's top goal scorer Macca picked up the Golden Boot with 54 goals while he shared the MVP award with David Haynes of Old Guns, both with 6 man of the match performances this season.

Big thank you to Calum for running the night at Cowes and to all our refs, Steve, Jukesy, Pete and Chris this season. The new season starts on Tuesday 1st November, we have a number of teams on the waiting list so will get the fixtures done by Thursday/Friday and extend the league to 12 teams. Thanks Rich
