GOALS GALORE IN COWES 6 A SIDE

It wasn't a great night to be a goalkeeper in Cowes last night as the scoring boots were well and truly on for our players as the 8 team season smashed through week 10 of the season in dramatic fashion.

We have 4 weeks left of the season and with the possibility for an expansion for the new campaign we are looking to add a few more teams to our waiting list. We have two in place already and they are itching to get involved so hopefully we can grow this league for the new season.

Last nights action kicked off with a huge win for Pique Blinders in what is becoming a great season for them, sitting 4th after the 13 - 0 scoreline against Victor Moses Lawn. Kian Mooney bagged 5 with Elliot Bracken-Lamb netting 3 in an off night for Victor Moses. St Marys carried on their merry way towards back to back league titles with another win. 9 - 4 against Millenials thanks to hattricks for each of Jason Ince, Macca and Adam Bartlett. The only team with a shout of stopping St Marys are Old Guns who keep the pressure on just a few points behind the leaders and again did all they could this week with an 11 - 2 win over Baines on Toast. Ross Lacey and Jack Davies each scored 4 in the comfortable win. Diverse Cowboys also had a good win against Khedira who remain without a point this season, 5 - 0 thanks to an Oscar Grant hattrick in this one to keep The Cowboys in 3rd spot.

So another entertaining evening of football at the Isle of Wight's premier 3G pitch and big thanks to Calum, Julesy and Steve for reffing the nights games.

Have a great week guys and good luck next Tuesday.
