St Mary's Champions of Cowes 6 a side

We wrapped up another brilliant season of 6 a side on the Isle of Wight last night as our Tuesday night league in Cowes came to it's conclusion with St Marys again crowned as champions. Their near perfect season ended with their 13th win in a resounding 10 - 2 win over 3rd placed Old Guns. Man Chest Hair Utd edged into the runners up spot with a 12 - 1 win over Touch Matip who will be relieved to now move down to Division One following a challenging season in the top flight. Robbin Ma Koch join them in the lower league following their 9 - 2 defeat to Pique Blinders and so will IOW Inbreds who joined mid season and took a place in the prem on the basis that they could go down for the new season. Their final Prem game was an 8 - 1 loss to Balotelli-Tubbies who impressed in their 1st season of 6 a side. The young side will be raring to go again for the new season next week.

Three teams will go up from Division One with Champions How I Met Your Mata well out in front. Joining them are Chewbacca and Victor Moses who both had strong seasons and will benefit from the extra challenge of the Premier League. Congrats to our top scorers in each division. Leigh Mackenzie of St Mary's in the prem and How I Met Your Mata's Jack Davies will both receive their golden boot prizes next week when the new season kicks off. Jack Davies also picks up the MVP award for the whole Tuesday night league for his 5 MotM awards over the season.

Well done to everyone involved in the season and a big thanks to our officials Calum, Jukesy and Pete for their efforts each week. This league has become really popular and it's easy to see why with some great teams and a brilliant set up at one of the Isle of Wights premier football venues.

The fixtures for the new season will be out very soon and we hope everyone has fun in the new season starting next Tuesday.

Good Luck
